Pi Network Bolsters Ecosystem with Open Standard Partnership
Pi Network has expanded its ecosystem through a new partnership with Open Standard, bringing Open USD (OUSD) into focus. This collaboration offers Pi users new ways to earn rewards and expands potential payments or transactions based on both use cases.
OUSD is now available across Ethereum, Solana, Base, and Tempo, providing a link between the Pi Network and existing multi-chain platforms. With over 200 partnerships in areas such as payments, finance, tech, and crypto, Open Standard brings significant credibility to the partnership.
The extent of the partnership's impact will depend on whether planned rewards result in measurable user activity. OUSD targets Pi user activity with its reward model structure allowing users to hold and trade their tokens.
Pi Network is currently testing if the OUSD news can strengthen its technical recovery, which began after reaching $0.0795 in mid-September. The token created a series of higher lows and recovered back up to $0.086 before facing resistance around $0.0935 from the prior breakdown.
