Pi Network Exchange Listings: Uneven and Thin Market
The Pi Network, a mobile-first blockchain, has gained significant attention with its smartphone app that lets users earn PI. The project's own pages claim millions of verified Pioneers, a large base for a market this thin. Pi Network exchange listings decide how that base reaches a market.
The project verifies a list of KYB-verified businesses that can hold Pi-Mainnet wallets. The list includes exchanges like Kraken, OKX, Bitget, Gate, Pionex, LBank, and MEXC. However, several venues that carry PI pairs in market trackers do not appear on the list, indicating two tiers of exchange listings: verified by the project and merely visible in data.
Kraken started PI-spot trading on March 13, 2026, and OKX later opened PI access to US users. Other venues listed the network earlier, with about 14 centralized exchanges now counting PI pairs, but no decentralized ones. This has spread liquidity across more order books, but also means thinner depth on each one.
The current market data shows a price of around $0.090, a market cap of about $1.01 billion, and a circulating supply of 11.24 billion PI. The total supply is 100 billion PI, with a wide gap between the two figures. Daily turnover is well under 1% of market cap, making the market thin and prone to volatility.
