Pi Network Exchange Listings Unveiled: Verified Exchanges and Risks Ahead
The Pi Network is a mobile-first blockchain that allows users to earn PI through a smartphone app. The project has gained attention due to its large user base, with millions of verified Pioneers. However, the listing claims for the token on major exchanges have been unclear and sometimes false.
The official list of Pi Network exchange listings includes seven exchanges and five on-ramp providers, which are verified by the Core Team through a KYB (know your business) process. This verification ensures that only legitimate businesses can hold Pi-Mainnet wallets. However, some venues listed in market trackers do not appear on this official list.
The largest US-regulated exchanges, Kraken and OKX, have listed PI, with Kraken starting spot trading on March 13, 2026, and OKX opening PI access to US users later. Other exchanges have also listed the token, but Binance and Coinbase remain absent, despite a community vote in February 2025 where support for listing was near 86.8%.
The Pi Network exchange listings carry several risks, including thin liquidity, with daily turnover well under 1% of market cap, supply overhang, as about 88.8% of total supply is not yet circulating, and fragmentation, as pairs sit across many venues, some outside the KYB list.
