Pi Network Overcomes Major Hurdles in KYC and Mainnet Migration
Pi Network has made significant strides in addressing issues related to its KYC (Know Your Customer) and Mainnet migration processes. The team has resolved a problem with duplicate-account verification, which has allowed over 417,000 Pioneers to continue with the KYC process.
Additionally, Pi is working on a fix to free up another 497,000 users who were unable to claim their migrated PI due to gas-fee problems from their Fast-Track wallets. This update is expected to be released within the next week.
Pi has also expanded liveness-check support, launched a trial for palm-print authentication, and implemented new KYC resubmission options. The team aims to address specific KYC application corner cases, improve verification processes, and help eligible Pioneers who were previously unable to progress.
