Pi Network Unveils Upgraded Desktop Software with SoloHost Enhancements
Pi Network continues to upgrade its desktop software, releasing Pi Desktop 0.6.3 with several key updates to SoloHost, a framework for running self-hosted applications.
The new version introduces a naming change, as future software versions will use the Pi Desktop label instead of Pi Node.
SoloHost now ranks community applications based on active users running them, giving users a clearer view of which apps currently have the most activity across the ecosystem.
The update also adds improved Docker Compose support for developers to test and troubleshoot applications before wider use, as well as a readiness probe that checks whether SoloHost applications respond correctly before user access.
