Pi Network's PI Token Enters Volatile October with Price Targets in Focus
The Pi Network's PI token saw a 4% decline in September, bucking the trend of many other cryptocurrencies which posted gains. With investors shifting their focus to October, three AI-powered chatbots have shared their predictions for the token's price.
ChatGPT and OpenAI's platform both agree that the token will likely remain volatile but range-bound in October, with a possible breakout above $0.095-$0.10 leading to a target of $0.12-$0.14. However, ChatGPT notes that supply remains PI's biggest problem, with a huge amount of tokens yet to be unlocked.
Perplexity is more bearish, suggesting that a further plunge below $0.07 is a 'very real possibility' due to the token's persistent downtrend and lackluster response to previous upgrades. The chatbot also identifies $0.10 as a key confirmation level, speculating that a move above could extend to $0.11-$0.12.
The Pi Network team is working on Protocol 28, which aims to improve the network's handling of delays in transaction data and enable developers to upgrade groups of smart contracts at once. However, Google's Gemini notes that resolving ongoing KYC verification issues and user-related concerns would be necessary for the price to push even higher.
