Pi Network's Price Sees Brief Bounce Amid Ongoing Downtrend
Pi Network [PI] has been on a relentless downtrend since April 2025. The altcoin's price chart shows successive lower highs and lower lows, with any attempted bounces unable to establish a bullish structure.
The token saw another short-term bounce on July 19, reaching $0.104, which turned out to be a sweep of the liquidity clustered around the $0.10 round-number resistance.
Since then, PI crypto value has slid by nearly 21% over two weeks. The recent protocol v25 upgrade aims to improve stability and introduce new cryptography and hashing methods.
A liquidity pool containing SLICE and Test-Pi was launched recently, using an automated market maker alongside the Pi DEX order book.
The token rallied by 7.1% from July 28th to 30th, but traders remain cautious about further drawdowns.
