Pixel 12 Series Leak Reveals Display Upgrades and Android 18 Support
Google's upcoming Pixel 12 series has surfaced in early database listings, revealing display specifications and model numbers for the 2027 flagship lineup. The leak suggests Google will continue offering four models, including a potential major display upgrade for the Pixel 12 Pro Fold.
The standard Pixel 12 is reportedly listed with a 1080 × 2400-pixel display, while the Pixel 12 Pro could feature a 1280 × 2824-pixel panel, and the Pro XL may use a 1344 × 2952-pixel screen. These resolutions differ slightly from the previous Pixel 11 series, which may indicate new dimensions or aspect ratios rather than a reduction in quality.
The Pixel 12 Pro Fold appears set for the most significant change, with its inner screen reportedly listed at 2296 × 2404 pixels, up from 2076 × 2152 pixels on the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. The device may retain a near-square inner-screen format, and earlier reports suggest Google could explore a dual ultra-thin glass structure to reduce the visibility of the display crease.
The lineup includes the Pixel 12, Pixel 12 Pro, Pixel 12 Pro XL, and Pixel 12 Pro Fold, with model numbers GC0QU, GWU59, G7U1Y, and G4D5D, respectively. Additionally, the reports hint that Android 18 could power the new devices, though further details on this are not yet available.
