PlanB, the creator of Bitcoin's stock-to-flow model, has expressed opposition to BIP 110, a proposed anti-spam fork. The analyst argues that this would undermine BTC's role as a decentralized bearer asset.

Supporters of BIP 110 claim it would block transactions that store large amounts of data, making the network more efficient. However, critics argue that this would allow the network to decide which valid transactions are acceptable.

In opposition to BIP 110, PlanB cited the 2017 Bitcoin Cash fork as a cautionary tale, where a dispute over block-size rules created a rival chain that failed to replace Bitcoin.
