The Pokémon Company's official Twitter account was compromised for approximately 30 minutes recently. During this time, the hackers took control of the account and posted about a cryptocurrency called Memecoin. The posts were not sanctioned by the company and have since been removed.

The incident occurred ahead of the Pokémon World Championships. While the exact details surrounding the hacking are unclear, it is evident that the attackers had access to the account for a brief period.

The Pokémon Company has apologized for the confusion caused by the unauthorized posts and assured fans that they have regained control of their account.
