Poland Sejm to Reconsider Crypto Regulation Bill After Veto

Share

Poland's crypto-regulation bill is back on the table after President Karol Nawrocki vetoed it for the third time. The Sejm, Poland's parliament, will vote on overriding the veto during its September 2-4 session at the request of Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

Tusk argues that recent events involving cryptocurrency exchange Zondacrypto demonstrate a need for stronger regulation in the market. If the Sejm overrides the veto and passes the law again, President Nawrocki will be required to sign it.
