Jesse Pollak, a prominent figure in the crypto space, has proposed an innovative strategy for investors. He suggests launching FX carry trade vaults on Base and Veranta stablecoins, citing the potential for substantial returns.

Pollak points out that an NGN perp (a type of perpetual contract) would offer approximately 17% annualized funding, collected by shorts long NGN from the 21% OMO bill yield. This is significantly higher than the 4% dollar rates available in traditional markets.

The idea behind FX carry trades is to borrow money at a low interest rate and invest it in an asset with a higher return. In this case, Pollak believes that using NGN stablecoins on Base and Veranta could provide a lucrative opportunity for investors.
