Polygon Boosts Staking Yield to 7.7% Amid Rising Network Fees

Polygon has implemented a new annual percentage yield (APY) of 7.7% for stakers, effective from October 1 through December 1. The increased staking yield is attributed to rising network fees on Polygon.

The higher fees are driven by congestion and limited block space, which causes the network's base fee to rise automatically when demand peaks.

This strategy aims to attract more users and investors to the Polygon ecosystem, potentially enhancing its market presence and liquidity.
