Polygon Brings Embedded Wallets to Bridge Blockchain Onboarding Gap

Polygon has introduced a new feature called Embedded Wallets that enables app developers to create non-custodial wallets for their users. This solution aims to bridge the user experience gap between blockchain and traditional web onboarding, making it easier for consumers to access crypto services.

The embedded wallet stack allows developers to integrate a unified dashboard with provisioning, access controls, analytics, and cross-chain operations across PoS and zkEVM blockchains. This means that users can create an account using email, passkey, or social login, without having to switch between external wallet apps like MetaMask.

The new feature is expected to compete with other embedded wallet solutions such as Privy, Dynamic, and Coinbase Embedded Wallets. However, Polygon's solution is native to their ecosystem, giving them a competitive edge.
