Polygon Token Supply Slashed by 100M as Remittix Nears Launch
Polygon's token supply has been reduced by 100 million POL tokens as part of its September 23 burn, accounting for about 1% of the original 10 billion-token base. The event is significant, but it doesn't automatically guarantee a price increase, as demand and wider market conditions also play a role.
Meanwhile, Remittix has reached $32 million in contributions from over 40,000 participants, with a $36 million presale hard cap. The project is developing bank-bound crypto payments and a live trading platform, along with a consumer wallet. It's scheduled to debut on November 24, 2026.
Remittix has also launched its BINANCE500 rewards campaign, offering a 500% token bonus for qualifying purchases over seven days. This move aims to reinforce the connection between payments, active trading, and wallet use after launch.
