Polygon Unveils Euro-Dollar Digital Payment System on Uniswap

Polygon has enabled a new euro-to-dollar digital payment system through a live EURe/frxUSD trading pair launched on Uniswap, according to blockchain news site BSCN.

The pair was created by Monerium, Frax Finance, and Capa, connecting Monerium's regulated European banking infrastructure with Frax's tokenized digital dollar, frxUSD, through Polygon's blockchain network.

The EURe/frxUSD trading pair allows the two digital assets to be exchanged through Uniswap, connecting euro-denominated electronic money, EURe, with frxUSD, a tokenized digital dollar backed through the Frax ecosystem.

Polygon provides settlement infrastructure for the system, allowing payment processors and fintech applications to exchange currencies instantly.
