Polygon's Token Burn Ignites Altcoin Frenzy: Which One Will Emerge as the Next Big Thing?
Polygon's community has approved a plan to burn 100 million of its own tokens (POL), roughly 1% of its total supply. This move is significant, but it won't determine Polygon's future on its own.
The proposal aims to reduce token supply and demonstrate the community's willingness to adjust token economics. However, network usage, fee demand, and application growth remain more important long-term drivers for Polygon.
Remittix (RTX) is another altcoin gaining attention. Its presale has already sold 83.23% of its tokens, priced at $0.21 before the next stage at $0.23. Remittix plans to connect crypto with bank settlement across more than 50 asset pairs and 30 fiat currencies.
Its broader ecosystem includes live perpetual trading, a mobile wallet, and a planned earning product. Solana (SOL) and XRP also offer established liquidity and recognizable network narratives. While SOL focuses on high-speed application and DeFi exposure, XRP is more closely identified with liquidity and cross-border payment infrastructure.
