Pompliano: Money Printing Will Fuel Bitcoin's Continued Rise

Anthony Pompliano, CEO of Professional Capital Management, believes that Bitcoin's (BTC) ongoing rally is due to indications that policymakers may continue expanding the money supply. In a recent Fox Business interview, Pompliano identified short- and long-term catalysts that drove Bitcoin back above $80,000.

The short-term catalyst, according to Pompliano, is the Treasury's hint that they will step in and double their purchases of long-dated yields and treasuries. This reminder that the U.S. Government is never going to stop printing money has been a major driver of Bitcoin's price increase.

Pompliano also emphasized the broader structural trend of an 'age of abundance' driven by AI, which will lead to an abundance of dollars. He argued that this trend will continue to drive up the value of scarce assets like Bitcoin.

In his view, as long as the money printer never turns off, Bitcoin has no top because the dollar has no bottom.
