Pompliano Stakes Fortune on Governments' Monetary Folly Driving Up Bitcoin

Anthony Pompliano, CEO of Professional Capital Management, predicts that Bitcoin (BTC) will perform well in the long term if governments continue to print money. He believes people in Washington D.C. are 'absolutely ridiculous' and will keep expanding the money supply.

Pompliano made these comments during an interview with Fox Business, where he was asked about Strategy Inc.'s (MSTR) founder Michael Saylor's prediction that Bitcoin would gain 30% every year for the next 20 years. Pompliano responded by saying that 20 years is a 'long time' and a lot can change in that period.

He noted that Bitcoin has compounded at an annual growth rate of more than 60%, and if governments keep printing money at an accelerating pace over the next decade, nothing is off the table. A Coinglass chart comparing Bitcoin's price growth to global money supply largely supports Pompliano's arguments.
