PowerCompute, a company specializing in high-performance computing and AI infrastructure, has successfully refinanced $18 million of its existing debt by consolidating three loans into a new Bitcoin-backed credit facility. This move allows PowerCompute to retain its entire Bitcoin treasury without selling any holdings.

The refinancing effort utilized 307 BTC as collateral, which is valued at approximately $6.7 million based on current market prices. By leveraging this new loan, PowerCompute is able to lower its borrowing costs from previously high rates of up to 12% APR to a significantly reduced rate of around 2% APR.

The facility renews monthly with interest rates adjusted according to market conditions, providing PowerCompute with additional flexibility and reduced financing expenses. This innovative approach reflects the growing trend among companies seeking to unlock capital while maintaining exposure to Bitcoin's potential price appreciation.
