PowerCompute Repays Arch Lending Facility, Reduces Debt by 94% and Returns $3.3 Million in Bitcoin
PowerCompute, a company listed on the Nasdaq under the ticker PWCM, has fully repaid its Arch Lending Bitcoin-backed facility, settling approximately $22.45 million of obligations. This move has resulted in the return of approximately 39.6 Bitcoin, valued at around $3.3 million, to the company. The repayment has also led to a significant reduction in total secured debt, with a decrease of approximately 94% from $19.4 million at June 30, 2026, to $1.25 million.
The company's CFO has mentioned that repayment has eliminated interest and collar-related expenses associated with the Arch and prior Galaxy facilities and Liebel loans. The remaining secured note matures on December 31, 2026, with an annual interest expense of approximately $140 thousand.
PowerCompute is planning to use Bitcoin as working capital rather than pursuing a leveraged treasury strategy, while developing high-performance computing and AI capacity. The company expects its Mississippi expansion and Oklahoma equipment upgrades to raise active mining computing power to approximately 964 PH/s, which is approximately 25% above June 30's approximately 771 PH/s.
