PowerCompute Repays Bitcoin Debt, Boosts Mining Capacity
PowerCompute has repaid its $22.45 million Bitcoin-backed credit facility and significantly expanded its mining capacity.
The company terminated the non-recourse agreement with Arch Lending, a unit of ChainFi, on September 24, 2026, after settling about 87% of its obligations by selling roughly 267.3 out of the 307 pledged Bitcoins.
This move reduced PowerCompute's secured debt from around $19.4 million at June 30, 2026 to approximately $1.25 million, eliminating interest and collar-related expenses tied to prior Bitcoin-secured financings.
With the repayment complete, PowerCompute is now focusing on boosting mining capacity by energizing 3.5 MW of owned power in Columbus, Mississippi, and continuing fleet modernization at Calumet, Oklahoma.
