Powerus Lists on Solana After Going Public on Nasdaq
Powerus, a company building autonomous drones and counter-drone systems, went public on Nasdaq on Thursday, October 1. The next day, its shares were tokenized and listed on the Solana blockchain.
The company's xNav AI architecture is designed to combine data from radar, visual sensors, and other sources to identify threats and coordinate autonomous systems. Powerus' co-founder and president, Brett Velicovich, has a background in military drone operations and has applied the technology to wildlife conservation and humanitarian work.
The tokenized representation of Powerus' shares on Solana, designated as $PUSA, is redeemable 1:1 for the underlying Nasdaq-listed shares. The token has already seen significant trading volume, reaching $9.1 million in trading volume by 2:45 pm on the day of release.
