ProCap Financial shares climbed 10.10% to $2.29 after hours on Tuesday, marking a significant increase from its closing price of $2.08 earlier in the day.

The New York-based bitcoin-native financial services company's stock declined by 3.70% during regular trading hours, but rebounded strongly in extended trading.

According to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing, Chief Financial Officer Renae Terese Cormier disclosed that she had withheld 80,138 shares at $2.16 per share, totaling around $173,098.

The 'F' transaction code associated with the filing indicates that the shares were surrendered to cover taxes related to the vesting of restricted stock units, a standard administrative step rather than a discretionary stock sale.
