Public Chains Generate Minimal Fees, Most Below $10
DeFiLlama's latest data reveals an interesting trend in public chains. According to their metrics, only seven out of 558 tracked networks generated more than $100,000 in transaction fees over the past 24 hours.
Solana led the pack with $1.09 million in fees, followed closely by Tron at $922,900 and BSC at $793,900. Ethereum came in fourth with $435,000 in fees, while Bitcoin trailed behind with $325,600.
The majority of tracked chains, however, generated significantly lower fees, 514 out of 558 recorded less than $1,000 in transaction fees over the past day. Of these, 443 reported fees below $10 and a staggering 399 had zero fees.
