Public Companies Boost BTC Holdings Amid Bullish Price Structure
Between September 7 and September 13, public companies increased their Bitcoin holdings by a net 1,615 BTC ($126.15M), according to the Lookonchain weekly report.
This adds two firms increasing their holdings and two trimming positions. Stablecoin supply contracted by $414.38M during this period, while decentralized exchange (DEX) spot volume rose 7.95% week-over-week, but perpetual volume fell 7.78%. Bitmine purchased 27,180 ETH ($68.19M), and Strategy remained inactive.
The Bitcoin price is currently at $78,439.89 within a bullish structure defined by the 50-EMA (exponential moving average) at $77,878.21 and the 200-EMA at $74,360.29. The price has tested the upper Bollinger Band resistance at $78,088.44, while the Relative Strength Index (RSI) is at 60.86, remaining neutral. The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) shows a golden cross, indicating a likely healthy pullback toward the 50-EMA support before continuation higher.
