Pudgy Penguins Soars Past Dogecoin, Shiba Inu as Analyst Sees 1,200% Rally Ahead
Pudgy Penguins (CRYPTO: PENGU) has been on a tear lately, climbing 2% on Thursday to extend its rally. According to crypto analyst Ali Martinez, this token's chart structure mirrors Pepe's (CRYPTO: PEPE) early expansion phase on Ethereum (CRYPTO: ETH). Both tokens experienced explosive initial attention, followed by a sharp reset from highs and months of consolidation before rallying once liquidity returned.
Martinez argues that PENGU now sits right where PEPE began its biggest expansion, calling it a fractal too similar to ignore. He points out multiple bullish signals converging on PENGU's weekly chart, including declining volatility, buy signals from the Tom DeMark Sequential and Parabolic SAR indicators, and a SuperTrend buy signal.
PENGU has surged nearly 38% over the past week, making it the sixth-largest cryptocurrency gainer. It also pushed the token up 16% year-to-date, with prices reaching as high as $0.0109 before pulling back on Wednesday. For comparison, Pepe gained 26.9%, Dogecoin rose 15.9%, and Shiba Inu climbed 14.9% over the same stretch.
