Puffer Finance Taps Anchorage Digital for Institutional Settlement Infrastructure
Puffer Finance has partnered with Anchorage Digital to bring institutional settlement infrastructure to its Ethereum-aligned execution and settlement network, Puffer UniFi. The partnership will enable institutions to securely hold assets, move stablecoins, and settle transactions on-chain.
Under the agreement, Anchorage Digital will serve as Puffer UniFi's day-one institutional custodian, providing a foundation for secure asset holding and transaction settlement. The companies will also collaborate on stablecoin infrastructure, native settlement, and agentic payments.
The partnership combines Anchorage Digital's institutional digital asset infrastructure with Puffer UniFi's high-performance execution and settlement environment. This collaboration is expected to create new rails for programmable payments and increasingly automated forms of on-chain financial activity.
The announcement follows a recent partnership between Puffer Finance and Google Cloud, which joined Puffer Preconf as a registered gateway, with Puffer UniFi as the first rollup to use the infrastructure. The addition of Anchorage Digital's institutional digital asset infrastructure is seen as a major step forward for Puffer UniFi.
According to Amir Forouzani, Co-Founder of Puffer Finance, 'As payments become increasingly programmable, custody and settlement infrastructure need to evolve together.' He noted that the partnership with Anchorage Digital brings institutional infrastructure to Puffer UniFi from day one, creating rails for stablecoins, payments, and agentic financial activity while remaining composable with Ethereum.
