PUMP Prices Plummet 30% Amidst Crypto Market Volatility

The Solana memecoin launchpad token PUMP has experienced a significant retracement after its impressive 104.7% rally in August, which pushed its price from $0.00265 to $0.00543 at its peak.

Since then, the token's value has fallen by nearly 30%, with PUMP trading at around $0.0038 as of the time of writing.

This decline is attributed in part to Bitcoin's recent sell-off from the $82K-mark, which has dampened the altcoin market's momentum over the past two to three weeks.

An additional factor contributing to PUMP's price drop was a token unlock of approximately $25 million on September 12th as part of its monthly cliff schedule, which includes a vesting end date in June 2029.
