PyUSD Stablecoin Signals Cryptocurrency Market Downturn
PyUSD, a relatively new stablecoin, has emerged as a potential momentum indicator for the cryptocurrency market, according to a TradingView analysis by TheGemHunter. The stablecoin's chart shows a large, sideways action triangle formation, suggesting either a B, X, or 4th wave. This has led the analyst to mark the area as primary wave 4.
The analyst notes that primary wave 5 down is currently printing, with the dominance retracing to the 0.618 level of the entire trend up. This area is well-known for support and reversals. However, further analysis reveals that the wave count suggests even further retracement to the downside.
The analyst suggests that primary wave 5 is subdividing into lower degrees, with the evidence pointing to a minor wave 1 having printed at the 0.618 ratio. This could indicate a subdivision into a lower degree. Alternatively, primary wave 5 could be an ending diagonal. Either way, further retracement down is expected.
The 1HR chart shows a 5-wave impulse up forming yellow A, followed by an expanding triangle that forms yellow B. The analyst notes that another 5-wave impulse is moving up, potentially marking minor wave 2. However, this could also mark a continuation of the correction.
