Qantera Network Rolls Out Testnet Ahead of Mainnet Launch

Share

The Qantera Network is currently running a public testnet ahead of its mainnet launch. This Layer 1 network is built around post-quantum security research and claims to be EVM-compatible. Qantera has allocated 18% of its total token supply, known as QTER, to a community testnet program.

The project's documentation explicitly states that it uses 'quantum-resistant' instead of 'quantum-proof,' emphasizing that post-quantum security doesn't protect against stolen private keys, phishing, or other common risks. Users are expected to follow standard wallet security practices despite the network's underlying cryptography.

To participate in the Qantera testnet and be eligible for rewards, users must connect a new wallet and complete tasks during Phase 1 of the testnet campaign. These include claiming the daily faucet, completing social tasks, and completing YAP (Yet Another Protocol) tasks. The project has stated that maintaining a consistent daily activity streak will factor into the potential share of the community allocation.
