A draft agreement aimed at restarting US-Iran negotiations has been confirmed by Qatar. The 14-point memorandum of understanding includes an immediate ceasefire, the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, and the potential release of $24 billion in frozen Iranian assets during a proposed 60-day negotiation window focused on nuclear issues and sanctions relief.

The draft agreement is one of the most concrete steps toward de-escalation in the region in years. US envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff arrived in Doha around June 30 for discussions with Qatari officials, who have been serving as intermediaries between the two parties.

Crypto markets are already pricing in a potential deal, with Bitcoin's price oscillating between $63,600 and $65,800. Ethereum, XRP, and Dogecoin have also seen price fluctuations tied to speculation around the talks.
