Quantum Blockchain Technologies (QBT) has secured approval from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for its patent application covering ASIC UltraBoost technology.

The approved patent focuses on improving the efficiency of Bitcoin mining by eliminating redundant computations within the SHA-256 message scheduling process used in application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) mining hardware.

According to QBT, the innovation is designed to streamline cryptographic hashing operations, potentially improving the performance of specialized mining chips. While several administrative requirements remain before the patent can be formally issued, the company expects this process to conclude within approximately four to six weeks.
