QNT Expands to Solana Through Sunrise and Raydium Partnership
Quant's QNT token has expanded its reach into the Solana blockchain, thanks to a partnership with Sunrise and trading platform Raydium. This move allows Solana users to access QNT liquidity without affecting its existing presence on Ethereum.
The expansion is seen as a cross-chain market-access expansion, rather than a migration of the QNT ecosystem away from its existing networks. This distinction is crucial, as cross-chain deployments are often mistakenly described as migrations.
QNT has historically been associated with interoperability infrastructure and enterprise connectivity, while Solana has become a hub for retail and payments-focused blockchain environments. By putting QNT into the Solana market, Quant can widen access to its token, even if its underlying network architecture remains unchanged.
This move is part of a broader trend in the crypto space, where liquidity is becoming increasingly decentralized across multiple blockchain networks. Token projects are no longer tied to a single blockchain, and users expect assets to follow them rather than forcing traders onto the same chain.
