QNT Ignites Altcoin Rally as Bitcoin Eyes $85K Again
Bitcoin's price continues to inch towards $85,000, gradually making its way up after defending the $83,000 support on Friday. The asset saw a significant surge earlier in the week when it blasted through several major resistance levels and reached $87,300 before being rejected.
The bears attempted to intercept this move by pushing the price south to $85,000, but the bulls stepped up and prevented another leg down. Instead, BTC rebounded to $84,000 and remained there on Saturday despite a slight increase in its market capitalization to $1.7 trillion.
Meanwhile, Quant's QNT is leading an altcoin rally with a 75% surge over the past 24 hours. The asset reached a high of $190 before being stopped at that level and driven down to $160. This impressive gain can be attributed to The Clearing House selecting Quant to power its On-Chain Money Initiative.
