Quant Price Soars as Clearing House Deal and Founder Wallet Activity Spark Interest
Quant's price has surged more than five times in just days, climbing from around $60 mid-September to an intraday high near $372 before settling at roughly $300. The token gained over 400% during September, making it one of the strongest-performing large-cap cryptocurrencies last month.
The rapid repricing may be linked to Quant's recent selection by The Clearing House to power its On-Chain Money Initiative. This deal will see Quant provide the interoperability and transaction-management layer for a new network designed to clear and settle tokenized deposit transactions between financial institutions.
A wallet linked to Quant's founder, 0x48E9, recently transferred 25,776 $QNT worth approximately $6.97 million to newly created wallets after seven years without activity. The address still holds 600,000 $QNT, valued at around $160.39 million at the reported price.
The transfer represents only about 4.3% of the wallet's remaining $QNT balance. This has brought a large $QNT balance back into focus as the token trades at levels far above those seen before the September rally.
