Quant Price Surge: Analyst Sees 3,806% Upside to $10,000
Gold analyst Jan Nieuwenhuijs has issued a bullish call for Quant (QNT), urging investors to buy at least one token. He framed the opportunity as a risk-reward bet, suggesting investors could lose $120 while potentially earning up to $10,000 if his thesis plays out.
This latest commentary from Nieuwenhuijs mirrors a similar Bitcoin prediction he made in 2013, when he suggested that buying Bitcoin could result in a loss of $300 or a potential gain of $10,000. However, it's essential to note that historical performance does not guarantee future success.
QNT has already seen significant price appreciation since Nieuwenhuijs' call, surging 210% from the $120 level and reaching a record high near $372 yesterday. This rally is partly driven by growing adoption of Quant's technology in tokenized banking infrastructure, including its involvement in major initiatives such as The Clearing House's On-Chain Money Initiative.
Despite retracing from its September 27 record high to trade around $256, QNT remains up 45% over 24 hours and 288% over seven days. Its market cap stands at approximately $3.1 billion, with daily trading volume reaching $1.25 billion, a 158% increase.
Nieuwenhuijs' $10,000 projection for QNT is his personal bullish thesis, but it remains unclear when or if this target will be reached. To achieve this price, QNT would need to rise by roughly 3,806% from its current level of $256.
