Quant Price Surges 400% After Partnership with Clearing House
The cryptocurrency Quant (QNT) has seen an impressive surge in price after partnering with The Clearing House to power its On-Chain Money Initiative. In less than a week, QNT's price increased by nearly 400% from $74 to $357 before pulling back to $241.
This sudden movement caught the attention of traders and analysts, who attributed it to the institutional-use narrative that Quant has gained through this partnership. The Clearing House operates payment networks processing over $2 trillion in transactions daily, and Quant's role is expected to become available to participating institutions by mid-2027.
Data from Santiment shows a significant increase in on-chain activity, with new addresses jumping from 351 to 7,516 within just three days. Active addresses also rose dramatically, from 2,064 to 14,458 over the same period. Open interest in QNT skyrocketed almost nine times between September 23 and 27, measured in dollars.
