Quant Surges 154% as Institutional Partnerships Drive Growth
Quant, the tokenized deposit and settlement platform, led the pack of top-performing cryptocurrencies this week, surging 154% and reaching a price of $252. This growth is largely attributed to the platform's growing institutional partnerships, including a selection by The Clearing House to power its On-Chain Money Initiative for US tokenized deposit clearing and settlement. UK banks also completed their first live customer transactions using tokenized sterling deposits on a Quant-built platform under the Great British Tokenized Deposit initiative.
Midnight, a privacy-focused network, gained 100% this week as it advanced to a new stage of mainnet development. The network announced that permissionless smart contract deployment went live on its mainnet, allowing developers to deploy contracts directly without requiring a security review in the network's Preprod environment. This move has garnered renewed attention around Midnight's privacy infrastructure, with Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson comparing the project's potential with Zcash.
Other top performers include Bitway, PUMP, Aave, WLD, and SKY, which gained 52%, 30%, 16%, 16%, and 13% respectively over the week. Bitway's rise coincides with the end of the Binance Wallet 'Bitway Booster Season 5' campaign, and the token is set for a $140 million token unlock within the next 24 hours. Aave's expansion to additional networks and the launch of its lending infrastructure on Arc and Base have also contributed to its growth.
