Quant Whales Stir After 3-Year Slumber as QNT Price Surges
Quant (QNT) whales that had been inactive for over three years have suddenly started moving their tokens to exchanges. This comes as QNT has rallied by 287% over the past week, reaching a price of $266.75.
On-chain data shows that whale transactions on the Quant network reached a record high. Moreover, new wallets flooded in after The Clearing House chose Quant for its tokenized deposit network.
Two wallets were tracked by Lookonchain as they stirred from their three-year slumber. One deposited 8,250 QNT worth $1.88 million into Binance, while the other moved 34,200 QNT valued at $8.05 million. The latter has already sent 9,000 QNT to Coinbase and Kraken.
Santiment noted that whale activity confirms large players are paying attention but does not indicate whether every whale is buying or selling.
