The research team, led by Google in collaboration with the Ethereum Foundation and Stanford, highlighted the urgency for migrating to quantum-resistant cryptographic methods. However, experts caution that current quantum computers are far from this capability, and recommend using fresh addresses for each transaction to mitigate risk.
