Quantum Solutions Sells $1.9M in ETH to Fuel Japan's AI Data Center Expansion
Japanese company Quantum Solutions has sold 1,000 ETH for $1.9 million to fund its AI data center expansion. The sale is part of a series of strategic divestitures aimed at converting digital assets into physical compute infrastructure.
The company's holdings in Ethereum have been steadily decreasing since June 2026, when it began systematically liquidating portions of its ETH reserves. This move has helped Quantum Solutions fund specific AI data center initiatives, including the purchase of high-performance GPU systems designed for advanced AI workloads.
Quantum Solutions' partnership with Integrated Capital targets Nvidia B300 and GB300 GPU systems, which are among the most powerful chips available for AI training and inference workloads. The company is betting that its AI data center revenue will materialize quickly enough to justify liquidating a performing crypto asset like ETH.
