Québec Regulator Issues Warning Against Unregistered Crypto Platform Pump Fun

The Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) in Québec has issued a warning to residents about Pump Fun, stating that it is not registered or authorized to solicit investors in the province.

The alert was published on September 25 and does not announce a website ban, enforcement order, finding of fraud, or change to users' wallet access.

Pump Fun's services involve user-generated digital assets, which have been categorized as high-risk by the AMF.

The regulator urges residents to exercise caution and check its registers before dealing with a firm or person, providing a clear point of reference for assessing whether Pump Fun is authorized to operate in Québec.
