QuickSwap Surpasses $700M Volume on Coinbase's Base
QuickSwap has reached an impressive milestone on Coinbase's Layer 2 network, Base. The decentralized exchange crossed $700 million in cumulative trading volume on the platform, a significant achievement considering it only deployed on Base after a governance vote in May 2025.
The protocol's expansion to Base involved a formal proposal that passed in mid-2025, allowing QuickSwap to roll out its full suite of features, including spot swaps, V3 concentrated liquidity positions, yield farming, staking, and perpetual trading. This move has contributed to the growth of the platform, with volume on Base hitting $500 million by early June 2026, $600 million by late August, and reaching roughly $667 million by September 21.
QuickSwap is now targeting $1 billion as its next goalpost, demonstrating its ambition to continue growing on Base. The protocol's lifetime volume on Polygon stretches into the tens of billions, making Base a secondary theater of operations for QuickSwap.
