Raijin Protocol's Roadmap Takes Shape as GameShame Studios Tackles Blockchain Integration
GameShame Studios' Nidhish Sajwan discussed the roadmap of Raijin Protocol in NeoPod's sixth AMA. The game is an on-chain aerial combat PvP experience built on Neo X, a blockchain that caught their attention due to its MEV-resistant design and fast transactions.
Sajwan emphasized that transaction ordering and competitive fairness were non-negotiable requirements for the game's architecture. Raijin Protocol has received Phase One and Phase Two funding from GrantShares, with the second round of 11,900 GAS distributed in May 2026.
The development roadmap is structured around three phases: the first focused on core gameplay, combat systems, and getting the initial prototype working; Phase Two focuses on blockchain elements like NFT integration and smart contracts; and Phase Three will be about alpha and beta testing, player feedback, and pre-release polish before the game launches publicly.
When asked about the Neo founders' governance dispute, Sajwan expressed a measured response, saying GameShame's approach is to stay focused on what they can control and expressing hope for resolution through constructive communication. He pointed out that the team's commitment to the Neo ecosystem is due to the resilience of builders around him.
