Rakuten Wallet Gives Away Physical SHIB Coins at September Event
Rakuten Wallet, a Japanese tech giant, is hosting an event in September where it will be giving away 'real SHIB coins' to holders of Shiba Inu. The giveaway is scheduled to take place on September 12 at the Rakuten Wallet booth during the Securities Investment Academy in Fukuoka, Japan.
The real SHIB coins are a physical metal souvenir that was previously launched in July and use sandblasting technology. This event marks another step in Rakuten Wallet's support for Shiba Inu, which it added to its platform in April. At the time of listing, users could convert their loyalty points into SHIB and spend them through the Rakuten Pay payment system at 5 million retail locations across Japan.
Rakuten Wallet has also been actively promoting Shiba Inu with dedicated content, including a video called 'Understanding SHIB' undertaken by senior analyst Matsuda. However, it's worth noting that Shiba Inu is currently down 3.61% in the last 24 hours to $0.0000051.
