Raydium LaunchLab Unlocks Custom Token Pairs on Solana Trading Platforms
Raydium has taken a significant step in adapting its LaunchLab features by updating the way new tokens can join Solana trading platforms. The upgrade, which allows for custom token pairings, provides creator teams with more control over the assets deployed to kickstart liquidity.
LaunchLab, an alternative token-launch platform, now supports any token pair on Raydium. This means that a project could build a market around an asset that already has strong relevance within its own community rather than defaulting to a standard quote token.
The new custom-pair model is the first integration by LaunchOnSF that has taken it to market, and it aims to fix liquidity, cost, and flexible use of meme tokens. With this upgrade, Raydium offers developers and communities increased flexibility while maintaining the consistency of these markets to connect with its wider trading future.
StonkFun, a project by LaunchOnSF, is the first integration partner to put the new functionality into production. The deployment cost for StonkFun has dropped from 0.29 SOL to 0.03 SOL, and lots of action has already happened on the platform.
