Raydium Unlocks Custom Token Pairs on Solana Through LaunchLab Upgrade

Raydium has expanded its LaunchLab platform to support custom token pairs on Solana. This means that projects can now launch tokens against any supported token pair, giving creators more control over the assets used in their market.

The new model is an upgrade to Raydium's existing infrastructure and allows for flexible pairing directly on Solana with deeper liquidity, lower fees, and stronger meme-native trading.

The first integration partner to use this feature is LaunchOnSF, which has already deployed its StonkFun project live on the platform. The deployment cost for StonkFun has dropped from 0.29 SOL to 0.03 SOL, and the platform has seen significant trading volume of over $392 million, with approximately $219 million sent through Raydium.

This move is a sign of a broader change in the competitive dynamics of Solana launch platforms, where developers are no longer just looking for tools to create tokens but also for access to liquidity, trading, and incentives.
