RBI Brings Crypto Trading to 18 Million Customers via Bitpanda Partnership

Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI), a major Austrian banking group in Central and Eastern Europe, is teaming up with Bitpanda to bring cryptocurrency trading to its vast customer base.

The partnership will leverage Bitpanda Enterprise's digital asset infrastructure to enable RBI's network banks to offer crypto services across 11 European markets. This move could potentially reach around 18 million customers, according to the companies' joint announcement.

RBI CEO Michael Höllerer stated that they are seeing growing demand for cryptocurrencies in their markets and are addressing this through Bitpanda.

'As a customer-centric bank, we are committed to meeting our customers' needs in the best possible way,' he said.
