Real Trump Coins Denies Role in Trump Digital GOLD Promotion and Collapse
Real Trump Coins has denied any involvement in promoting or authorizing Trump Digital GOLD, a Solana-based token that has recently collapsed.
In an X post on Saturday, the company attributed the promotion to 'third-party bad actors' and stated that authorities were involved in determining what had happened.
Blockchain analytics platform Lookonchain reported that 82.45% of the total supply of GOLD was held across a developer wallet and newly created addresses before the sell-off.
The firm also found that 15 team-associated wallets subsequently offloaded their tokens for about $330,000, booking an estimated profit of $312,000.
